Privacy Policy
Last updated: May 10, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Lomdaat Technologies ("we", "us") collects, uses, stores, and protects information when clients use our Instagram monitoring service. By connecting your Instagram Business account to our platform, you agree to the practices described here.
1. Information we collect
When a client connects their Instagram account through Facebook Login, we collect:
- The Facebook user ID of the connecting administrator.
- The list of Facebook Pages the administrator manages (IDs and names).
- The Instagram Business account ID and public username linked to each such Page.
- An encrypted long-lived Page Access Token, used only to perform periodic read requests on the client's behalf.
- Metadata of media published by the client on their own Instagram Business account (media ID, type, caption, permalink, timestamp, public media URLs).
- Operational metadata (connection status, timestamps of successful refreshes, error messages).
2. How we use information
- To display the client's published Instagram content inside our dashboard.
- To notify the client's team when new media is published.
- To monitor the health of the connection and surface errors (e.g., expired tokens).
- To respond to support requests from the client.
We do not sell, rent, or share this data with third parties for marketing purposes. We do not use Instagram data to build profiles of individuals beyond the client's own authorized account.
3. Data storage and security
- Access tokens are stored encrypted at rest.
- All data transfers occur over HTTPS.
- Access to the administrative dashboard is restricted to authorized personnel and protected by authentication.
- We follow reasonable industry practices to protect stored data, but no system is perfectly secure.
4. Data retention and deletion
We retain connection and content metadata for as long as the client's account is active. When a client disconnects (from our dashboard or from Facebook's Business Integrations settings), we stop all further API calls. Clients may request full deletion of stored data at any time by emailing zvis@hadran.net. We will complete such requests within 30 days.
5. Your rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you or your account.
- Request correction or deletion of that data.
- Withdraw consent to our processing at any time by disconnecting our app.
- Lodge a complaint with a data protection authority.
To exercise any of these rights, contact us at zvis@hadran.net.
6. Instagram and Meta platform data
Use of Instagram and Meta data is further governed by the Meta Platform Terms and Developer Policies. Data we obtain from the Instagram Graph API is used solely to provide the service described on our Instagram Integration page.
7. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the service after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
8. Contact
